1. File Format
We accept the following file formats: • Acrobat PDF (maximum support up to 10.0, but prefer save to Acrobat 5 PDF 1.4 ) • Illustrator (maximum support up to CC) • Photoshop (maximum support up to CC) • In Design (maximum support up to CC) We encourage you send in high-resolution PDF or convert AI, PSD, Word, Excel & Powerpoint file into PDF file. If you are sending files that are .ai, .pdf or .eps, please make sure you create trim mark, bleed line, embed image and create outline your fonts. If you are using special font, please upload us your font too. We will not proceed work that do not create outline that will got error & missing fonts.
2. Fonts
• Fonts must be embedded and outlined. • Some fonts have copyright restrictions and will not embed in PDF Files. • Make sure font is at least 7pt – very small text can look good on screen but does notprint well.
3. Image Format
We accept the following image formats: • JPG • TIFF • PSD Please make sure you link and embedded your images. So that it wont be missing image link file for output printing.
4. Colour Mode
• CMYK – All colour artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) colour mode and not RGB. We will automatically convert your file to CMYK if it is given in RGB format. • Total of C100, M100, Y100 and K100 percent (%) cannot be more than 250%. • All text in solid black or grey must fill in ONLY BLACK percentage. • For black colour font, make sure it is K 100% • For black colour background, fill up C50 & K100 and knockout the fonts. • When printing lines or curves in a solid or dark colour, make sure the strokes are at least 0.25pt. If you’re using a lighter colour, we recommend 1 pt. • For the 5th colour (except CMYK), please convert colour palette to spot colour.
5. Resolution
All file formats must have minimum 300 dpi (dot per inch) resolution.

6. Bleed
What is a bleed? Bleed is the portion of the product that will be trimmed off when it is cut to the final size. Loose File - Bleed: 5mm Booklet File - Bleed: 10mm
Safe Zone : Anything left close to the edge may be cut off during trimming. Loose File - Safe Area: 4mm Booklet File - Safe Area: 8mm
Crop Marks
• Crop marks is the lines indicating where the paper should be cut to produce the correct size. • Please build your press-ready digital files by adding crop marks.
7. Checking
• We will not responsible for any misplacement, picture blur, spellings or typo error on customer’s artwork. • We will not be responsible for any artwork and content fill up with overprint (font and Images) which will not print out in final product.
8. Proofing
• Colour in computer monitor cannot be used as colour standard. • Proof provide by customers cannot be used as colour standard. • There will be a certain level of colour variance compare with the colour proofing. The final product colour will follow Vinlin Press ISO color standard proofing.
9. Direction
• For file with two side printing, make sure you indicate clearly the ‘Front’ and ‘Back’ in the artwork. • Two side printing file with SAME orientation (Landscape or Portrait) • Will be printed TOP to TOP and BOTTOM to BOTTOM • Two side printing file with DIFFERENT orientation (Landscape or Portrait)
10. Save File
• Make sure there is only 1 design in your file. Kindly remove all unneeded design to avoid mistake of the file.
